Sunshine, Sand, and Surf!

Southern California is renowned for its many beautiful beaches - each having its own vibe and culture. And a day at the beach surely soothes the soul! Many flock to the Pacific for a day's getaway. Why not? We all "feel" good when we are near the ocean - the soothing rhythm of the waves, the smell of the salty ocean, squishy toes in the sand. All so incredibly relaxing. In Pranic Healing, regular beach visits - about once a month or once every two months - is encouraged. The sea water has a cleaning effect on the energy body. The fresh air, sunlight, and the ground/sand all help to energize a person. Who doesn't feel awesome after a visit to the beach! A trip to the beach from the Inland Empire is just a drive down the 91 freeway! There are many to choose from but we have our favorites driving from the Riverside area. Here are some of our family's favorites:

Laguna Beach - many coves to choose from and the water is so wonderful. We like to launch our paddle boards from Diver's Cove.

Crystal Cove State Park - open space and natural seashore.

Salt Creek - a favorite body surfing beach back in the day that has since been developed but still fun to play in the waves.

Bolsa Chica State Beach - our favorite surfing and family gathering beach with clean restrooms and warm showers.

San Clemente Beaches - many different areas to choose from. Don't want to hassle with driving or parking? Take the Pacific Surfliner!

There are many fabulous beaches - too many to list - so just sharing a few. Whenever you visit the beach, it is important that you read all postings and signs - heeding all instructions from the lifeguards and authorities. Also, remember to "pack in and pack out" - leaving no trace in order to keep wildlife safe and to keep our oceans and beaches clean.
